Steel fire doors in custom sizes

are an excellent fire protection solution for buildings where standard doors cannot be used. Custom steel doors are designed and manufactured to individual dimensions, tailored to the architectural and technical requirements of the project. These doors are available in single- and double-leaf versions and in fire resistance classes from EI30 to EI60. Non-standard door sizes require exceptional precision in the fit of the doors and frames and the selection of materials for production.

Fire-rated EI30/EI60 steel doors

with a flat rebate are a robust construction of high technical parameters with a perfect installation system in commonly used building materials and various installation conditions. A door leaf with a thickness of 64 mm and three-sided or four-sided flat rebate, made of steel sheet with a thickness from 0.75 to 1.0 mm, galvanized and electrostatically primed in the white color as a standard, filled in with fire-resistant sandwich panel bonded on both sides to the sheets of the door leaf sheathing over the whole surface. Fire-rated door leafs are manufactured in non-standard dimensions with a maximum length of 1250 mm and height of 2500 mm. Door frames are made of a steel sheet with a thickness from 1.5 to 2.00 mm with a three-sided profiled keyway under EPDM gasket. Door frame profiles being available: corner, surrounding, or fixed door frames that ensure easy, robust, and aesthetic installation in concrete and masonry walls, as well as in lightweight drywalls. Under the standard related to the equipment of fire-rated doors, there are two or three three-part DomoGenius LHE hinges, including a spring-loaded door hinge allowing automatic closing of the doors as well as construction hinges with smooth adjustment of a door leaf position ± 4 mm.

Standard fittings for fire-rated steel doors:

a lock according to DIN 18250 prepared for door lock cylinder installation, a handle according to DIN 18255 made of plastic with a steel core on a plate in the black color. Fire-rated double-leaf doors have SR 390 closing sequence regulator and an automatic door latch of passive door leaf. Doors construction allows to equip them with a wide variety of non-standard accessories, which are used in the most demanding projects: in optional version: fire escape locks and anti-panic fittings, access control, door weather strippings, glazings in a variety of dimensions and formats, automatic door opening and closing, and hydraulic door-closers. Under the standard, the door surface is electrostatically primed with the white and light-ash color, and it may be finally powder-coated according to RAL pallet.

Fire-rated EI30/EI60 steel doors with a flat rebate are products being systematically used for closing the passages of non-standard dimensions in fire division walls, which require the selection of unique fittings. The doors stand out in terms of a very favorable price to the strength of doors, which allow using them in hard conditions corresponding to class three and four of strength requirements. Such operating conditions - a great number of opening and closing cycles as well as a risk of incorrect and improper use - they require the usage of solid, fire-rated doors with 64 mm thick door board and durable hinges.

Acoustic insulation in accordance with EN ISO 20140-3:1999/A1:2007:
Rw-37dB for one-leaf doors in a version with a threshold and a four-sided seal in the threshold and door frame or a version with non-threshold with a three-sided seal in the door frame and automatic drop seal in the lower edge of the door leaf.
Rw-35 dB for double-leaf doors in a version with a threshold and a four-sided seal in the threshold and door frame or a version with non-threshold with a three-sided seal in the door frame and automatic drop seal in the lower edges of the door leafs.
The possibility of manufacturing doors in a smoke-tightness class Sm in accordance with EN 13501-2:2008 provided that a threshold seal is used.
Mechanical resistance in accordance with EN 1192:2001:
Class -4- for doors with leafs sheathing made of steel sheet of 1.00 mm thickness.
Class -3- for doors with leafs sheathing made of steel sheet of 0.75 mm thickness

The use of fire-rated steel doors in non-standard dimensions:

For installation and operation in the area of high frequency and improper usage. Used for separation of a fire-rated staircase in multi-storey residential buildings and public facility buildings. Due to the possibilities of making the dimensions of non-standard door leafs as well as fitting the door frames, they are used in the industrial buildings, in technical areas of residential buildings, offices, and commercial-service centers.
