Aluminum fire doors, windows and walls are optimal solutions for modern architecture in the field of the fire safety of buildings. Aluminum fire door and window designs are based on special aluminum profiles, which optimally combine aesthetics with good mechanical properties and capabilities of ensuring fire resistance and fire isolation. Aluminum profiles allow for a large share of glazings in fire safety designs. Design solutions that apply large, fire-resistant glazed surfaces provide many attractive perspectives for interior design thanks to their aesthetic features and the design possibilities offered by aluminum profile systems, besides separating fire zones within a building. Fire safety aluminum profile systems make it possible to manufacture a wide range of fire-resistant door and window designs, as both internal and external fire walls with glazings and single-leaf or double-leaf doors. Fire partitions of this type, made of aluminum profiles, are made in fire resistance and isolation classes EI 15, EI 30 or EI 60, according to standard PN-EN 13501-2:2016. An additional feature of the door design can be smoketightness according to class Sa and S200.
Aluminium sliding fire doors, despite a slightly higher price, are an excellent alternative to traditionally opened fire doors in places with particularly high traffic, and thus a large number of openings and closings. The use of sliding doors is also the optimal use of space on both sides of such a fire barrier: the door leaves open and close in the plane of the guides, not taking up the space that would be needed by the swing door leaves. Other advantages of fire-resistant sliding doors are their functionality, transparency thanks to large fire-resistant glazing, availability in unusual dimensions, and a wide range of colours. The special feature, however, is durability and failure-free operation achieved by the door structure and the use of a high-class electric drive. Before delivery and assembly, the drive unit is completed and factory tested with all electronic and mechanical components. The drive with wings can be mounted to the reinforced beam of the system partition or directly to the wall.
